Winnipeg Jets TrueNorth FoundationThe True North Youth Foundation focuses its efforts on providing support to the children of the community so they may lead quality lives and develop into contributing members of society.

Through two strong and continuously growing programs as well as a new program, the Foundation positively impacts the lives of thousands.

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy (WJHA) is a play-based program designed to increase school attendance as well as high school graduation rates in socially and economically challenged schools in Winnipeg.

Project 11 is an educational program designed to act as a curricular resource for teachers in grades 5-8 supporting positive mental health in the classroom.

The newly signed lease and operating agreement of Camp Manitou will enable the Foundation to deliver more than just a greatly improved summer camp experience, but develop a program that serves disadvantaged youth 12 months of the year.

The organization was established in October of 1996 as the Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation. With the acquisition of an NHL franchise in 2011, the Foundation has been renamed the True North Youth Foundation and is tasked with the responsibility and privilege of continuing financial, volunteer and programming support in accordance with its desire to have a larger positive impact on the community. The foundation dedicates resources to assist registered youth charities within our community who focus on developing and operating programs that support undeserved youth.

Thanks to the generosity of our fans, donors, players, employees and sponsor partners, TNYF has granted more than $4.2 million to charities in Manitoba since 1996.
